If you are submitting your details to receive publications, your details are used to send you the publications that you have requested. If you are submitting your details for the purposes of receiving a quote for services, the information will be used for the purposes of sending a quote and then as appropriate to provide you with the services contracted for.  We may also use your information to send you other information about us and the services we offer. Website visitors
When a visitor browses the Eyes Wide Open website, we collect standard internet log information.  This information does not identify individuals and is only used internally for us to ensure that our website best meets our audience’s needs.  The only personal data which is collected is from the sign up form, should you request to receive our marketing briefings.  This information is held completely separately from any visitor information to ensure visitor data remains anonymous.

Cookies
Cookies are small files which are placed on to a browser by a website.  We use cookies on the Eyes Wide Open website to measure the performance of the site and to ensure that it best meets our visitors’ needs.

• _utma, _utmb, _utmc and _utmz – used for our Google Analytics for us to measure how visitors use our site, all information is completely anonymous and we cannot track who the user is.  _utmc is a temporary cookie and is deleted once your browser is shut.

The Eyes Wide Open website includes both internal and external websites.  We select links that we feel are relevant to the content that they are linking from or are useful for our visitors.

Eyes Wide Open is not responsible for the content on external websites that are linked to from our site.

We do not link to external sites in return for cash, services or any other payment in kind – links are selected purely based on the relevance of their content for our audience.

Job applicants
If you are a job applicant the information you provide will be used to determine your suitability for a position and, if applicable, in determining terms of employment or engagement. It may also be included in management information used to monitor recruitment initiatives and equal opportunities policies. If your application is progressed further, details may be disclosed to third parties (such as educational institutions, present and past employers, credit reference agencies, etc.) for reasons such as the verification of, or obtaining extra, information.
